Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You’ll train and support employees to ensure quality food, a clean and safe environment, and an enjoyable guest experience every visit.

Prior leadership experience in a restaurant is highly desirable, with responsibilities including opening/closing duties, staff supervision, inventory checks, and maintaining records to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as restaurant assistant manager, general manager, supervisor, shift lead, crew lead, or team lead preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet service standards.
• Enforces employee handbook policies and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including records and documentation.
• Reinforces customer service mindset and guest satisfaction.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and resolves complaints.
