Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day drive-in operations and staff leadership. You will help train team members, ensure quality food service, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards to deliver a great guest experience.

The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and prior restaurant management experience. You will oversee opening/closing duties and manage staffing and inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, math, reading and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as needed and supervise staff.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Maintain records and documentation as required.
