Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a team in our Louisville location. You will oversee shift leaders and staff, ensure top guest experience, and drive daily operations with a focus on training, consistency, and quality service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and ensuring food safety standards. A flexible schedule and career growth opportunities are offered within this fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of manager experience in restaurants.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards and company guidelines.
• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.
• Strong communication skills with restaurant management, staff and corporate support teams.
• People management skills to lead restaurant teams and develop staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager as a champion of better burgers.
• Manage the performance of multiple shift leaders and employees.
• Promote a fun and positive work environment.
• Oversee training using SmashConnect, LMS, and the four-step method.
• Reward and recognize performance that meets standards.
• Ensure daily operational checklists, line and uniform standards are followed.
• Oversee FSC standards daily and guest experience metrics (NPS/OSAT).
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Manage labor and scheduling based on forecast tools and sales trends.
• Support local store marketing programs as assigned.
