Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead shift leaders, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will manage staffing, training, food safety, and cost controls while supporting the General Manager.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of restaurant management experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, results-driven approach in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include bonuses, health coverage, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Manager experience in restaurants.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to lead teams.
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards and guidelines.
• Must complete Smashburger training program.
• People management to coach and develop restaurant staff.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and service standards; improve as needed.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, inventory, and COGS.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance.
• Assist with local marketing and store initiatives.
