Smashburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a motivated team in a high-energy environment. You will drive staff performance, food safety, and store programs while supporting the General Manager.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, inventory control, and cost management with opportunities for bonuses and health coverage. Candidates must have 1–2 years of restaurant management experience and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Manager experience in restaurants.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with restaurant management, front line employees and corporate support teams.
• People management skills to lead restaurant teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members
• Foster a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS)
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance
• Assist with local marketing and store initiatives
