Job summary
Friendly's Restaurants in Michigan is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team. This hourly role supports the General Manager, guiding restaurant operations, production, and customer service across kitchen, dining, and take-out.
You will ensure safety, quality, and guest satisfaction while coaching staff and enforcing standards. Experience in restaurant leadership, a high school diploma, and strong POS/back-office knowledge are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience with proven leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lead teams while upholding integrity.
- Knowledge of POS and back-office systems.
- Able to walk/stand during an entire shift.
- Strong math and communication skills.
- Background check required.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations with focus on execution, profit, and guest experience.
- Provide on-shift coaching; enforce labor laws.
- Supervise hourly staff; ensure friendly service and quality food.
- Enforce food handling procedures and recipes per SOPs.
- Open and close restaurant; manage daily procedures and housekeeping.
- Ensure safety, security, and sanitation policies are followed.
- Assist in production as needed.
