Job summary

Postino Winecafe is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a team and drive exceptional guest experiences in Charlotte. You will direct daily operations, manage beverage programs, and ensure resources are used efficiently to meet or exceed budgeted sales and profits.

The role emphasizes staff coaching, safety, and the upkeep of decor and ambiance, with a focus on hospitality, teamwork, and delivering memorable experiences for guests and community partners.

Qualifications

• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant Manager experience or 3-5 years of a lead or supervisory role in a restaurant.
• Combined work experience and education will be considered in decisions.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• Servsafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications are required

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, implement, and monitor the functions of staff members to deliver positive memorable experiences.
• Meet or exceed budgeted sales and profits.
• Manage beverage ordering, pars, promotions, and cost control (COGs).
• Oversee maintenance requests, invoicing, and vendor management through Service Channel.

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred
