Job summary

Portillo’s is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume operation and deliver exceptional guest service. You will motivate and coach team members, model operational standards, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

You will handle shift planning, scheduling, training, inventory, and budget decisions while maintaining hospitality and a culture of engagement. The role requires 50+ hour weeks, nights and weekends, and a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of Restaurant Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Must demonstrate leadership, coaching, and strong communication to drive excellence.
• Understanding of P&L and restaurant operations and knowledge of sanitation/food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Model operational standards and run shifts to create memorable guest experiences.
• Motivate and manage team members to provide hospitality at the highest level.
• Plan shift scheduling, training, and daily routines, including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Make decisions on inventory, budget, and labor while maintaining safety and quality.
