Job summary

J&H Family Stores in Alabama is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations of a fast‑service restaurant, oversee inventory and money control, ensure food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards. You will recruit, train and supervise staff, schedule shifts, coordinate local marketing, and maintain records.

The role requires 40–50 hours weekly, reliable transportation, and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in QSR environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates and posts the staff work schedules.
• Manages a staff of 4–12; assigns, oversees and evaluates work; conducts evaluations.
• Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
• Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
• Ensures health and food safety codes are maintained and policy followed.
• Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
