Job summary

Hudson House in Southlake, TX is hiring a Manager to lead daily floor operations and coach a high-performing team. You will uphold Vandelay’s standards, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and partner with culinary leadership to maintain menu quality and service excellence.

The role requires a flexible schedule, strong communication, and a focus on hospitality. You will mentor staff, manage scheduling, and help drive profitability while maintaining food safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Trustworthy, detail-obsessed and open to constructive feedback.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.
• Lead daily floor operations with confidence and professionalism, ensuring seamless service.
• Model warm, polished hospitality and empower team members to create memorable moments for guests.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
• Help oversee scheduling, shift planning, and labor management.
• Maintain vibrant floor presence by supporting service teams and ensuring pacing and communication.
• Support monitoring of key financial metrics, including labor, inventory, and COGS.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Partner with culinary leadership to ensure menu quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and proper storage.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communication between teams.
• Use guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Uphold disciplinary protocols with fairness and growth.

Education

High school diploma or GED
