Job summary

ACGBBQ, LLC., a licensed Sonny’s BBQ franchisee, seeks a restaurant manager to lead operations, hire and train staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience at our Sarasota location. Candidates should bring at least two years of restaurant management experience, strong interpersonal and time-management skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Expect 45–50 hours weekly with potential peak season overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and interpret safety rules/instructions.
• At least two years restaurant management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Solid reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficient in using computers including Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating hourly team members.
• Maintain safe, professional, engaging restaurant atmosphere.
• Provide clear guidance and expectations to staff for smooth shifts.
• Monitor performance and follow up with team members regularly.
• Address immediate store needs and guest requests to ensure excellent service.
• Implement store policies and programs to keep Sonny’s a great place to work.
• Work at least 45 hours per week; may require up to 50 hours during peak times.
