Job summary

J&H Family Stores is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily store operations, inventory control, and money handling while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. You will recruit and train staff, manage schedules, and drive local marketing efforts to boost sales.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a QSR environment.
• Experience supervising and training staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Willing to work 40–50 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Completes and posts the staff work schedules.
• Manages a staff of approximately 4 to 12; assigns, oversees and evaluates work.
• Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
• Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
• Ensures that health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
• Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
