Job summary

Potomac Family Dining Group (Applebee's Franchisee) in Front Royal, VA is seeking a restaurant leader to support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager by guiding Front of House and Back of House operations during scheduled shifts.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, maintain standards, supervise team members, and execute opening/closing procedures while upholding company policies and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of guest service experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in casual dining.
• Proven ability to grow sales and manage a Profit & Loss statement.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus.
• English reading/writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Bi-lingual experience a plus.
• Ability to pass a company background check.
• Reliable transportation and a government-issued driver's license.
• Able to work 50–55 hour weeks with flexible morning, mid-day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Restaurant Environment during scheduled shifts.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service and guest satisfaction.
• Build a culture aligned with Vision/Mission for People, Profits, and Guest Experience.
• Address and correct guest concerns quickly.
• Maintain high-quality guest experience and sanitation.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Manage Front of House and Back of House operations during shifts.
• Schedule Team Leaders and Team Members to meet sales demands.
• Comply with safety, security, and company policies.
• Assist in promotions, contests, and menu updates.
• Drive teamwork and professional standards.
• Develop Team Leads and Team Members for growth.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports.
