Depending on experience, roles may be filled as Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager. You will drive sales, develop team members, ensure guest satisfaction, and support profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• QSR experience preferred.
• Drive-thru and catering experience preferred.
• Familiar with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize all revenue areas and development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts and other direct expenses.
• Select, retain, supervise and train all employees.
• Adhere to established training programs.
• Make staffing recommendations and support employee development.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to the team and lead them toward success.
• Foster Buona's people-first culture and create growth opportunities.
• Enforce policies, procedures and controls.

This opportunity supports the following Buona locations:

• Harwood Heights
• Itasca
• Rosemont

Salary Range:

Restaurant Manager: $50,000 - $60,000/annually

Assistant General Manager: $55,000 - $65,000/annually

General Manager: $65,000 - $85,000/annually

Placement level and compensation will ultimately be determined based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.

Job Summary:

Management team members are responsible for driving sales, developing team members, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting overall restaurant profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-5+ years of restaurant management experience
• QSR experience preferred
• Drive-thru and Catering experience preferred
• Familiar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shift
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
