Job summary

Buona Restaurant & Catering in Flossmoor, IL is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to drive sales and profit targets for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering retail. Under the direction of the General Manager, you will lead a multi-member team and oversee budgeting, hiring, and training.

The role requires at least 3 years in restaurant management, strong leadership, and financial acumen. The position offers a salary range of $50,000–$60,000 annually with benefits and growth opportunities.

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000/annually

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for attaining the sale and profit targets established for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering retail.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
• Manage and control direct expenses
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Adhere to established training programs
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
• Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture
• Enforce policies, procedures, and controls

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years in restaurant management role
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Drive thru and Catering experience preferred
• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift
• Financial acumen, particularly with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
• QSR Trend Awareness
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
