Job summary

CRAVE is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Sioux Falls to lead hospitality operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role focuses on staff development, standard operating procedures, and service quality across all shifts.

The candidate will oversee scheduling, training, and performance management while maintaining strong relationships with guests and clients, aligning with CRAVE's mission of hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of supervisory experience; including alcoholic beverage service.
• Experience managing POS systems and daily cash controls.
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation.
• Strong customer service experience and high quality consciousness.
• Supervise and motivate staff; act as a role model.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive interaction with guests and maintain relationships.
• Manage human resources: recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain two-way communication systems across staff (pre meal, weekly, monthly meetings).
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and service teams.
• Ensure timely meal service and high food quality; supervise service during dining hours.
• Respond to guest complaints in person or via email.
• Schedule staff and approve shift pickups.
• Train and develop staff; ensure staff duties are executed properly.
• Brief front-of-house supervisors before service to ensure communication.
• Maintain knowledge of service requirements, menu items, and presentation.
• Participate in staff meetings, reviews, and development.
• Assist with events on and off property.
