Job summary

Cook Out Restaurants is seeking a skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to upkeep HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment across our stores. You will handle walk-in coolers, ice and shake machines, and be cross-trained on hot-side kitchen gear.

You’ll document work via a company tablet and collaborate with area managers and store leadership. Requirements include 2+ years refrigeration experience, owning your tools, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration experience.
• Must own tools/instruments for refrigeration work.
• Must be able to work weekdays and every other weekend; on-call availability required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; reliable transportation to home restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC units, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice and shake machines.
• Maintain hot side kitchen equipment when required.
• Inspect facilities and perform self-identified repairs to keep stores operational.
• Use a company tablet to track requests and document work.
• Collaborate with Service Area Managers, office staff, and store leadership.
