Cook Out Restaurants is seeking an experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician to support HVAC, refrigeration, and hot-side kitchen equipment across multiple locations. You will repair and maintain walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, shake machines, and reach-in units, while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

The role requires at least 2 years of refrigeration experience, own tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekdays with alternating weekends and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration experience.
• Own tools for refrigeration work.
• Weekdays with every other weekend; on-call availability.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (3+ years)
• Reliable transportation to home restaurant; van may be taken home on call weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple stores.
• Repair walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, shake machines, and reach-in units.
• Maintain hot-side kitchen equipment.
• Inspect facilities and perform self-identified repairs.
• Document requests and completions using a company tablet.
• Collaborate with service area managers, office staff, and store leadership.
