Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas seeks a Food & Beverage Hostess/Cashier to greet guests courteously, assist servers, and keep the outlet clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts. You will convey special orders, manage the POS system, handle money and card transactions, and communicate guest needs to management to ensure smooth service and memorable experiences.

Minimum 21 years old with high-volume resort experience; weekend and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

High volume restaurant supervisory experience required.
Two years of related experience.
Alcohol Awareness Card
Health Card
Minimum age 21
Experience in a resort setting preferred

Responsibilities

Assist Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Runners with guest contact and table information
Seat guests using established rotation criteria
Convey special orders, cake orders, and information to management
Maintain knowledge of daily activities, house count, table/seat numbers, dress code
Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant
Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests
Ensure menus are current and in good condition
Communicate guest needs to kitchen/management; assist to ensure quality service
Check back with guests waiting to be seated
Monitor cleanliness/organization of work areas; operate POS system
Handle money and credit transactions
Notify manager on duty of guest concerns
