The St. Joe Company/St. Joe Resort Operations LLC is seeking a friendly Greeter to warmly welcome guests as they enter and escort them to their tables.

You will help maintain a positive dining atmosphere, highlight menu items, and support smooth guest flow by coordinating with servers, kitchen, and management. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, have strong customer service skills, and be able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Experience in customer service is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to be friendly while multitasking.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to memorize and describe menu items.
• Ability to operate various restaurant operating systems.

Responsabilités

• Courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Extend courteous departures as guests leave.
• Be aware of wait times and notify guests during busy times.
• Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintain cleanliness.
• Complete closing duties as assigned.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Be familiar with the menus and highlight items for guests.
• Maintain knowledge of table and seat numbers and proper table setups.
• Guide servers and bus persons in table set-up.
• Answer restaurant telephone courteously and efficiently.
• Check reservations and private party staffing; coordinate with kitchen for item availability.
• Keep in contact with servers, manager, and kitchen to synchronize timing with guest flow.
• Thank guests leaving the restaurant to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
