Job summary

The St. Joe Company is hiring a Greeter for Camp Creek Resort - Inlet Beach, FL 32461. The role focuses on greeting guests warmly, escorting them to their tables, and coordinating with servers to ensure smooth seating and guest flow.

Responsibilities include maintaining positive guest relations, assisting in restaurant setup, and keeping areas clean and organized while supporting restaurant operations throughout service.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred
• Experience in customer service is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times
• Extend courteous departures as guests leave
• Be aware of wait times and notify guests during busy times
• Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintain cleanliness
• Complete closing duties as assigned
• Restock supplies as needed
• Be familiar with restaurant menus and highlight items for guests
• Maintain knowledge of table and seat numbers and proper setups
• Guide servers and bus persons in table setup
• Answer restaurant phone courteously and efficiently
• Check reservations and private party staffing with managers
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure menu items are available
• Maintain communication with servers, manager, and kitchen to synchronize timing
• Thank guests leaving to ensure a pleasant dining experience
• All other duties as assigned
