Job summary

The St. Joe Company/St. Joe Resort Operations LLC is seeking a Food Runner to assist servers by delivering correct food and beverages to guests and seating guests at tables in our resort dining outlets.

You will support servers, answer guests' questions, refill drinks, and help maintain clean, well-stocked service areas. CPR training and 18+ age required for alcohol service; basic English literacy is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
• CPR Training (can be obtained after employment).
• Must be at least 18 years old (to serve alcohol).

Responsibilities

• Deliver the correct food to guests.
• Seat guests at their tables.
• Assist servers with service and food delivery.
• Answer any questions guests may have.
• Refill water jugs for guests.
• Ensure guests have appropriate tableware.
• Double-check orders against tickets.
• Prepare sauce cups for servers as needed.
• Cut fruit for bartenders as needed.
• Prepare expo line for service.
• Bus tables as needed.
• Sweep and mop work areas; sanitize shared spaces.
• Take out trash to dumpsters; prevent overflow.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned.
