Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in California to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, control costs, and ensure service excellence. This role requires strong leadership, open availability, and a focus on safety and quality to uphold brand standards across the restaurant.

You will coach team members, manage inventory, develop labor schedules, and communicate with district managers to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; University degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be Serv Safe Certified.
• Knowledge of P&L statements.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong skills in Communication, Leadership, and Conflict resolution.
• Requires open availability.

Responsibilities

• Work the front counter to ensure quality service and coach employees.
• Conduct meetings with team for training and operational reviews.
• Develop and maintain sales levels; utilize local store marketing.
• Monitor utilities and costs; analyze P&L statements; control inventory.
• Develop and post labor schedules; adjust labor to sales.
• Manage cash handling and deposits daily.
• Maintain safe work environment and health department standards.
• Hire and promote staff; maintain personnel files as required.
• Perform administrative tasks and attend district meetings.
