Diversified Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager (GM) for a Taco Bell restaurant in California. The GM mentors the team, drives profitability, recruits strategically, and ensures training and a superior customer experience while upholding DRG values.

The role emphasizes leading through example, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of learning and excellence across shifts and teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must read, speak and write in English.
• Must pass the SERV Safe Certification Course and Exam and maintain current health card.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Reliable transportation and clear criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Team Development: identify, train and mentor a team of high-potential individuals.
• Operational Excellence: create world-class operations including exceptional customer service and strong financials.
• P&L Management: maintain strong financial results and minimize costs to maximize profitability.
• Leadership: liaise between upper management and the team with an open-door policy.
• Training & Development: conduct ongoing workshops and provide real-time feedback.
• Culture & Values: reinforce DRG's culture and promote inclusivity and a respectful atmosphere.
• Compliance: enforce adherence with company policies and local regulations.
