Job summary

Burger King Corporation seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead a single restaurant, driving profitability, guest satisfaction, and people development. You will oversee daily operations under the District Manager, managing a team of 20-45 employees including an Assistant Manager and Hourly staff.

You’ll own P&L management, schedule optimization, and compliance while maintaining brand standards and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• PROFITABILITY: Has primary accountability for the restaurant P&L and actively manages towards desired financial outcomes.
• GUEST: Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean facility.
• GUEST: Manage the guest experience through operations and timely response to Guest issues.
• GUEST: Problem solve guest feedback systems to determine root-causes and develop action plans.
• GUEST: Identify and engage with the community to drive local marketing initiatives.
• PEOPLE: Lead recruitment and selection to build and retain an effective restaurant team.
• PEOPLE: On-board new team members through training and certification.
• PEOPLE: Coach and recognise team members to raise performance.
• OPERATIONS: Manage labor with optimal staffing and scheduling.
• OPERATIONS: Enforce compliance with regulations, laws, and policies.
• OPERATIONS: Ensure restaurant upholds standards and performs duties of supervisors when needed.
