IHOP is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation of an assigned unit in Indianapolis. You will lead guest relations, drive training programs, and execute financial and HR objectives in alignment with SOPs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurants marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit as defined by the SOP and operations plan.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain frequent contact with guests; handle complaints professionally and timely.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Recruit, train, and retain employees; administer the restaurant hourly compensation plan; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure food quality and presentation; maintain proper temperatures and service times.
• Maintain inventory and supplies; order food timely and minimize stockouts.
• Ensure proper operating condition of equipment and premises per SOP; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain sanitation practices and train staff in food handling and hygiene.
• Develop and maintain a safety program with regular meetings and safety tools usage.
• Ensure security practices; manage cash handling procedures and door security.
• Support marketing promotions and ensure POP materials and menus are up to date.
• Complete reports and paperwork; maintain personnel files and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned
