Job summary

Hardee’s is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, uphold brand standards, and drive profitability. You will recruit, train, and coach staff, ensure food safety and quality, manage scheduling, and optimize performance across sales, labor, and inventory.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining compliance with company policies and state requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in restaurant operation.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance to travel between locations.
• Effective Communication—interacts with all team members and encourages open communication.
• Customer Focused—customer first with high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates CKE’s Core Values while building high performing employees when selecting, training, retaining, and recognizing top talent.
• Identifies and develops a pipeline of talent through succession planning tools and best practices.
• Executes the company’s performance management process consistently to ensure employees are set up for success and held accountable.
• Reinforces and follows the “Open Door” Policy with all employees.
• Travels between company locations to support business operations, including attending meetings and transporting product and supplies as needed.
• Works assigned schedule to ensure that all day parts are being observed, i.e., breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends.
• Drives customer-focused culture by serving as a role model in resolving customer issues and training employees to meet or exceed customer service standards.
• Analyzes sales, labor, inventory, and controllables on a continual basis and takes specific corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts; participates in company meetings.
