Job summary

Hardee’s is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to direct daily restaurant operations in alignment with brand vision and promises. You’ll coach top talent, monitor sales and labor, and ensure food safety and quality while maintaining customer focus and profitability.

Travel between company locations and partnership with HR are required. Flexibility in scheduling including nights and weekends is expected. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and training to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in restaurant operation.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must maintain reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance to travel between company locations and transport product and supplies as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Supports an Open Door policy with all employees.
• Oversees all job duties across shifts: service, prep, cleaning, stocking.
• Monitors restaurant operations to ensure proper supervision and efficiency.
• Travels between locations to support operations and attend meetings.
• Partners with HR to resolve employee relations and ensure legal compliance.
• Manages schedules to cover all day parts and ensure service quality.
• Resolves customer issues and trains staff to meet service standards.
• Coaches teams to adhere to operational procedures and company systems.
• Ensures food safety standards via audits and training.
