Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Manager in Marshall, Michigan to oversee location operations, financial performance and people management under the Area Director's direction. The GM will lead Managers and hourly TEAM Members, drive guest satisfaction, and achieve business goals with Apple II training and prior AGM or GM experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership, and a strong track record in P&L

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.
• Assistant General Manager (AGM) or prior Unit General Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and financial performance and human capital within the location.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines and builds a positive guest experience.
• Manages recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of Managers and TEAM Members.
• Maintains controls and compliance with company policies, budgets, and safety standards.
• Develops leaders and drives continuous improvement across store operations.
