Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations, finances and team performance at a Michigan location. You will drive guest satisfaction, financial results, and staff development under the Area Director’s guidance.

The role requires prior AGM or unit GM experience with a similar organization, Apple II training, and a track record of achieving business goals with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, hospitality, or management.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with P&L accountability preferred.
• Completion of Apple II Management training and proven leadership in a national chain.
• Demonstrated excellence in operations leadership and business acumen.
• Ability to lead change and champion improvements at market level.
• Strong recruitment, training and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial performance at the location.
• Lead Managers and hourly team members; coach and evaluate performance.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance; manage budgets.
• Recruit, train, and develop store leadership; conduct reviews and set objectives.
• Communicate with Area Director and other leaders; manage management meetings.
