Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar seeks a General Manager under the direction of the Area Director to oversee operational and financial performance and human capital at their location. The GM should have AGM or prior Unit GM experience and completed Apple II Management training, with a track record of achieving business goals with supervisors.

The role requires managing restaurant operations, staff development, adherence to company policies, budgeting, and community involvement to drive sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of Multi-Unit Restaurant Management with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.

Responsibilities

• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Builds a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide Values.
• Maintains and controls assets and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Oversees Managers and Hourly TEAM Members within their location.
• Inspires cooperation and teamwork from management and TEAM Members aligned with TSFR Roadmap.
