Job summary

Papa John’s USA is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa John’s restaurant, ensuring profitability through leadership, planning, forecasting, and adherence to company policies.

The role includes overseeing operations, managing teams, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Experience in restaurant management and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Must have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, insurance, satisfactory vehicle and ability to drive.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week) including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, address deficiencies and respond to concerns.
• Oversee recruitment, performance reviews, and coaching to build teamwork and retention.
• Drive sales through local marketing, positive community presence, and customer engagement.
• Manage costs, inventory, and compliance with budget and FOCUS system.
• Ensure safety and security standards and oversee maintenance as needed.
