Job summary

The Baked Bear is seeking a General Manager in Los Angeles to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold customer service standards, and ensure smooth store performance. You will supervise team members, manage scheduling, handle ordering, cash handling, and maintain cleanliness and compliance with corporate practices.

Ideal candidates bring leadership, strong communication, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences while effectively coordinating with the corporate team on questions

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a retail or food-service environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage cash handling and POS procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the shop on time per operations guidelines.
• Balance drawer, make deposits, and record petty cash.
• Bake cookies according to store procedures and par sheets.
• Greet customers, take orders, and assist with the ordering process.
• Supervise staff, schedule shifts, and manage labor costs.
• Oversee vendor relations and store maintenance activities.
• Address customer complaints with diplomacy and courtesy.
• Assist with payroll/timecards if needed and report to owner/HR.
