Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Omaha, NE is seeking a General Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver consistently high guest experiences. You will train and coach Crew and Carhops, direct drive-in operations, and ensure food safety, cleanliness and efficiency.

You will prepare and adjust staff schedules, monitor inventory and payroll records, recruit and interview candidates, and develop action plans to address unfavorable trends in sales or service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant crew and carhop staff.
• Experience in training and coaching team members to meet service standards.
• Ability to open/close the restaurant and manage shift coverage.
• Experience with scheduling and basic inventory control.
• Experience hiring and onboarding staff and handling payroll records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach crew (+ carhops) to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Direct drive-in operations to meet quality and service standards.
• Prepare and monitor staff schedules; adjust staffing as needed.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Complete employment records and payroll documentation.
• Develop and implement plans to improve sales and customer experience.
