Job summary

Charter Foods seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team, drive exceptional hospitality, and manage daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced setting.

You will recruit, hire, train, and develop staff, schedule shifts, resolve customer issues, and oversee budgeting and financial plans. A dynamic leader with a positive attitude is essential for building a great workplace and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team delivering great food and friendly service.
• Find, hire and develop employees, conduct new hire orientation and train new hires.
• Schedule and deploy the team, address performance issues, and manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
