Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team and set the tone for hospitality and service. You will recruit, train and develop staff, manage scheduling, handle performance matters and oversee the restaurant budget to maximize profits and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate shows strong leadership, clear communication, and a track record of people development in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Find, hire and develop employees and conduct new hire orientation.
• Execute training plans for each new hire.
• Schedule and deploy the Team; address performance issues.
• Assist in resolving customer issues and manage restaurant budget and financial plans.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication to build a great team.
