Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Los Alamos, NM, is seeking a General Manager to lead the team, ensure superior service, and manage daily operations. You will train Crew, direct shifts, monitor compliance, and safeguard food safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, preferably QSR.
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation rules.
• Leadership and supervisory skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
• Willingness to adhere to SONIC appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs restaurant employees to meet food service standards.
• Ensures compliance with employee handbook and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Prepares and adjusts staff schedules for proper coverage.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Maintains payroll and employment records.
• Fosters customer-focused service and resolves guest requests promptly.
• Recruits and hires staff to achieve staffing goals.
• Prepares operational reports and develops action plans for sales trends.
• Develops and implements marketing plans.
