Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Raceland, KY is seeking a General Manager to lead our drive-in’s operations and staff, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient guest experience. This is the top management role with responsibility for recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance coaching.

You will manage food, labor, inventory, and vendor relations, develop local marketing plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, lead, schedule, and discipline staff.
• Manage staff compensation in line with company guidelines.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust food, labor, inventory to maximize cost-control.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain operational records and reports.
• Develop, implement, and manage local marketing and business plans.
• Ensure maintenance of drive-in facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable laws.
