Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead the drive-in’s operations and staff, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The role supervises training, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Daily tasks include managing labor costs, opening/closing duties, and coordinating local marketing efforts to boost performance. This is a high-responsibility, full-time leadership position in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education required: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields.
• Experience: at least 3 years of restaurant management (QSR preferred).
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws (federal, state, local).
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, and lead staff and assistant managers.
• Oversee compensation to align with company guidelines.
• Supervise operations to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Plan and manage opening/closing duties and daily reports.
• Develop and manage action plans for local marketing and business performance.
