Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Carencro, LA seeks a General Manager to lead drive-in operations, supervise staff, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. This individual will manage hiring, training, scheduling, and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating labor, food, and inventory, handling guest and employee issues, and driving local marketing efforts. A strong leader with 3+ years of QSR management is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
• At least 3 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach, and lead staff.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage opening and closing duties and guest/employee issues.
• Control labor, food, inventory, and costs to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records and reports.
• Develop and implement local marketing and business plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
