Sonic Drive-In seeks a General Manager to lead and manage the drive-in's operations and staff, ensuring top-tier guest experience and adherence to company policies. You will recruit, train, and supervise employees, manage costs, and coordinate local marketing efforts.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive restaurant management experience, and the ability to maintain safety, sanitation, and operational standards in a fast-paced environment. 50+ hour weeks, nights and weekends expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields.
• Experience: At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge/Skills: knowledge of labor/employment laws, health and safety laws, basic computer skills.
• Communication: strong verbal and written communication; problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Manage employees’ compensation levels per guidelines.
• Supervise all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee opening/closing duties.
• Handle guest and employee issues with proper Escalation.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust food, labor, and inventory for cost-control and quality.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records/reports.
• Develop and manage local marketing and business performance plans.
• Ensure maintenance of drive-in and equipment; supervise vendors.
