Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking a seasoned restaurant manager to lead a store's day-to-day operations. This full-time role requires analyzing the store’s P&L, writing weekly staff schedules, guiding the team, and upholding food safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit, train, and mentor hourly employees, manage ordering and inventory, supervise catering orders, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining brand integrity and a positive, collaborative work

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience.
• Proven leadership and guest service excellence.
• Experience with restaurant P&L and cost control.
• Knowledge of Google Suite and general computer literacy.
• Food Manager’s certification required soon after start.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store P&L and set cost goals.
• Write weekly staff schedules to manage labor costs.
• Set shift tone and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor staff and manage quality crew development and evaluations.
• Ensure food safety and maintain menu/product knowledge.
• Oversee catering orders and kitchen support.
• Hire, train, and onboard hourly employees.
• Manage cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain health department standards.
• Follow alcohol handling policies.
• Screen, interview, and onboard employees.
