Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe is seeking an experienced restaurant management professional for full-time leadership. The role involves analyzing store P&L, writing weekly staff schedules, and setting the shift tone to achieve cost and service goals.

You will mentor staff, oversee training and evaluations, and ensure food safety and quality while maintaining guest satisfaction across busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employees
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Food Manager’s certification to be obtained shortly after starting employment
• Knowledge of restaurant Profit and Loss statements
• Proficiency with Google Suite and computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Analyze store’s P&L and plan path to cost goals
• Write weekly staff schedule balancing people development and labor costs
• Set shift tone and provide clear directions on goals and duties
• Mentor staff and manage quality crew development, motivation and evaluations
• Master food safety and menu/product knowledge
• Prepare catering orders with your team
• Oversee or cover stations as needed including kitchen
• Order products, supplies, and produce
• Screen, interview, and onboard hourly employees
• Ensure proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Serve guests and build meaningful connections
• Maintain Health Department standards
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies
• Ensure proper food handling and storage
• Maintain hygiene and appearance
