Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team in Alhambra, CA. You’ll oversee all facets of the business, ensure quality and guest satisfaction, and maintain adherence to EPL standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be an EPL Assistant Manager or have the equivalent of 3+ years of management experience.
• Must obtain Serve Safe Certification and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manages, coaches, and recognizes team member performance to drive efficient restaurant operations.
• Oversees labor planning and scheduling to align with sales volume and labor targets.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and quality standards including QSC and cash handling policies.
• Develops and trains staff, conducts performance reviews, and facilitates hiring processes.
