Job summary

Smashburger in Boulder, CO is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, foster guest satisfaction and build a high-performing team. You’ll hire, train, coach hourly staff, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to Smashburger standards while driving sales and profits.

You’ll develop local marketing initiatives, maintain food quality and safety, monitor costs, and promote a positive culture with our High Five values.

Qualifications

• Ideal GM candidates have 1+ year in restaurant/retail/hospitality.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and pass background check.
• Able to complete food and alcohol safety certs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, develop and coach hourly team members.
• Ongoing training and development of management bench.
• Ensure Smashburger culture is strong and personified.
• Maintain staffing levels per labor matrix.
• Ensure every guest has a sizzling experience.
• Deliver high quality food per Smashburger recipes.
• Monitor and control daily food cost.
• Follow sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Review financial data weekly to boost sales and profits.
• Drive local store marketing and community involvement.
• Order inventory timely to ensure stock.
• Follow cash handling procedures and deposit daily.
