Charter Foods is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operation of the entire restaurant, build a strong team, and deliver great food and a friendly guest experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication, a track record of developing people, and a positive attitude. Key duties include hiring, training, scheduling, addressing performance issues, and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Find, hire and develop employees; conduct new hire orientation and training.
• Schedule and deploy staff; address performance issues.
• Manage restaurant budget and financial plans.
• Provide leadership and ensure customer hospitality and service.
