Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a single location with a focus on delivering high-quality, value-oriented dining and fast, friendly service. The role oversees daily operations, staffing, inventory, and budgeting to ensure guest satisfaction and strong financial performance.

The GM will train and develop staff, enforce food safety and labor policies, and drive sales while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

• Creates an in-store service environment that exceeds guest expectations with regards to friendly, quick, and accurate service.
• Communicates and follows-up with guests to obtain feedback and identify service and food quality improvement opportunities.
• Assists and resolves guest complaints using the listen, apologize, satisfy and thank model.
• Ensures all incoming calls are handled promptly and courteously.
• Directs and conducts regular training with team members.
• Provides regular feedback to team members and identifies areas for improvement.
• Works with direct reports to cross-train and develop new skills.
• Creates a positive work environment where team members are rewarded for performance and have fun.
• Maintains compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Prepares and analyzes operation reports.
• Responsible for budgets and adjustments as needed.
• Maintains restaurant inventory and oversees maintenance on equipment.
