Job summary

Wendys of Western Virginia is growing and is seeking energetic General Managers to lead staff and operations at one of our locations across Roanoke and Lynchburg. You will guide a team to deliver strong performance while maintaining a friendly, fast-paced, family-friendly environment.

As leader, you will manage cash, inventory, HR duties, training, and adherence to food safety standards, while driving service excellence and profitability.

Qualifications

• Restaurant/Retail experience (Experienced in serving customers).
• College degree or 3 - 4 years line operations experience in the restaurant industry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules that may include late nights (Most Drive-Thrus open till Midnight).
• Customer Service Skills, Effective Communication, Leadership/Organizational Skills.
• The General Manager must be able to stand for long periods without a break, and be able to travel to the bank, other restaurants, Area Office, etc.
• Reliability is a MUST

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and operations to create a restaurant of choice in a fast-paced environment.
• Control cash, inventory, and equipment to ensure success.
• Empower and assist team to achieve goals and service excellence.
• Set standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness across all dayparts.
• Perform HR duties to maximize engagement and retention.
• Interview and recommend candidates to ensure proper staffing.
• Complete all required Administrative duties.
• Provide A+ training through established systems.
• Ensure food safety procedures meet company and health standards
