Wendys of Western Virginia is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations across Roanoke and Lynchburg. You will manage staff, cash, inventory, and equipment while driving profitability, customer service, and a safe, clean dining environment.

The GM role emphasizes team leadership, flexibility with schedules, and hands-on training to uphold brand standards and health regulations in a fast-paced, family-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Restaurant/retail experience with serving customers.
• College degree or 3-4 years line operations in restaurant industry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including late nights.
• Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills.
• Stand for long periods and be able to travel to other locations and Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
• Control cash, inventory and equipment to support profits and safety.
• Coach and empower staff to achieve staffing and service goals.
• Set standards for quality, service and cleanliness across dayparts.
• Perform HR duties to maximize engagement and retention.
• Interview and recommend candidates to ensuring proper staffing.
• Complete all required administrative duties and training.
• Provide A+ training through established systems.
• Ensure food safety procedures meet company and health department standards.
