Job summary

Burger King in Boise is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will oversee a team of managers and crew, focusing on efficient labor, training, and local marketing initiatives.

The role requires strong P&L skills, leadership, and a commitment to brand standards. You may occasionally cover shifts and will work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support restaurant success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management & drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Own the restaurant P&L and actively manage towards profitability goals.
• Review key P&L lines to increase restaurant profitability.
• Drive sales through proactive guest service, people development, and operations management.
• Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with friendly, fast service in a clean facility.
• Manage guest experience through operations and timely response to guest issues.
• Identify community interactions to engage prospective guests and execute local marketing initiatives.
• Lead recruitment and selection to build and retain an effective restaurant team.
• On-board new team members by training and guiding them through certification.
• Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and Assistant Managers to raise performance.
• Manage restaurant labor with optimal staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, employment laws, and Burger King policies.
• Uphold operational and brand standards.
• Perform duties of Assistant Manager & Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
